Bangladesh Computer & Management College (BCMC) was established on 01 September, 1999 with a view to operating higher & mid-level academic courses on science, technology, management & health services. Since then BCMC has been successfully operating various long academic courses. This is the unique full fledged specialized college outside Dhaka which is offering science, technology, management & health services based education. This college is absolutely free from student politics & students’ union in order to maintain proper academic environment.

BCMC is operated by Usha Computers Limited. The Board of Directors of the company work as the Governing Body of BCMC. The composition of the Board of Directors is as follows:

BCMC is a private college. The college is affiliated with National University & Bangladesh Technical Education Board, Dhaka.

Wide expansion of science, technology, management & health services is the demand of the age in order to meet the challenge of the 21st century. Enormous employment opportunities are being frequently created in these sectors. But it is our ill luck that we are in backward position in respect of science, technology, management & health services based education in comparison to other countries. While there is a serious scarcity of skilled manpower in our country, the number of unemployed people having general education is increasing very rapidly. Traditional system of general education can not produce skilled manpower. As such operation of academic courses based on science, technology, management & health services with a view to creating skilled manpower is the objective of BCMC.

BCMC started functioning on 01 September, 1999 with only 06 students. Now the total number of students is over 1100.

When a student joins the BCMC, he/she joins the students from all corners of Bangladesh having a common dream of getting proper education & finally a good employment.
